Dan Bradley grew up in Port Talbot, South Wales. He read English at Cambridge and has since lived in Australia, Japan, London, Scotland and Spain.

His fiction, literary criticism, music journalism and translations of contemporary Japanese authors have appeared in AMBIT, GRANTA, THE GUARDIAN, GUITAR WORLD, NEW WELSH REVIEW, STRUCTO, TIMES LITERARY SUPPLEMENT, THE QUIETUS and THE BOOK OF TOKYO (Comma Press).

Dan has a special interest in extreme and metal music, and horror, uncanny and experimental fiction.

He lives and works in Cardiff.
